In the notification cited above, the Officers and their jurisdiction over the local area were specified.

Now, for the purposes of registration under sections 22, 24 and 25 of the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax. Act, 2017, the Commissioner of State Tax hereby amends the said notification as under:

"For the purposes of registration under sections 22, 24 and 25 of the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, all Assistant Commissioners of State Tax and all State Tax Officers shall have jurisdiction over the whole of the State.'
