In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the West Bengal Finance Act, 2016 (West Ben. Act VI of 2016) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint-

(a) 1st day of August, 2016, as the date on which section 1 of the said Act, shall be deemed to have come into force;

(b) 1st day of January, 2016, as the date on which sub-section (1) of section 2 of the said Act, shall be deemed to have come into force;

(c) 1st day of April, 2005, as the date on which sub-section (1) of section 5 of the said Act, shall be deemed to have come into force;

(d) 1st day of July, 2015, as the date on which sub-section (6) of section 5 of the said Act, shall be deemed to have come into force;

(e) 1st day of August, 2016, as the date on which remaining provisions of section 2, section 3, section 4 and section 5 of the said Act, shall be deemed to have come into force.
