Body NOTIFICATION No.F. 12(22)FD/Tax/2011- 41 Dated 1st September, 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 8 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act. 2003 (Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts 80% of the tax payable on the purchase of yarn by registered new enterprises in powerloom sector established, in the areas notified by the Industries Department, under Package for Investment in Power Loom Sector in the Districts Jodhpur, Pali and Banner issued by the State Government vide Order No. F.12(22)FD/Tax/2011-30 dated July 12. 2011 (hereinafter referred to as the Package) on the following conditions, namely:-

1. That the selling dealer shall not collect tax in excess of 20% of the prevailing rate of VAT on such yarn.

2. That such yarn shall be utilized by such purchasing enterprises for use in manufacturing of cloth in the powerloom units eligible under the Package..

3. That such exemption shall be available to the eligible powerloom units for the period and on fulfillment of all the terms and conditions as mentioned in the Package.

4. That the purchasing enterprise shall furnish a certificate to the selling dealer in form given below-
