BIHAR VALUE ADDED TAX Act, 2005 NOTIFICATION

Body Notification S.O. 90, dated the 1st July 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 14 of the Bihar Value Added Tax Act, 2005 the Governor of Bihar is pleased to make the following amendments to the Schedule I and Schedule III Part I appended to the said Act as follows-

1. serial no. 36 in Schedule I appended to the said Act, is substituted as following-

Serial No. in Schedule I	Goods
36	Indigenous handmade soap whose brand or trade mark is not registered under any law in force

2. The following serial nos. in Schedule III part I appended to the said Act, are substituted as follows-

Serial No. in Part I of Schedule III	Goods
39	chanachur, bhujia, dalmoot, fried potato chips and salted peanuts whose brand or trade mark is not registered under any law in force
56	Gypsum of all forms and descriptions but which not included Gypsum board and plaster of paris.
84	Nuts, bolts, screws and fasteners and nails
92	Chappal and sandal made exclusively of Plastic; hawai chappals and parts and components thereof.
113	Textile Products which includes blanket, Towel, Bed sheet, Handker chief and saree fall
131	Tractors, threshers, harvesters and attachments and parts thereof which include their tyres and tubes.

3. This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of its issue.
