In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 4 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in Schedule IV appended to the said Act, with immediate effect, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In Schedule IV appended to the said Act, the existing serial number 43 and entries thereto shall be substituted by the following, namely:

" 43.

Drugs and medicines including vaccines, syringe and dressings, medicated ointment produced under drug licence and light liquid paraffin of IP grade excluding goods specified in entry No. 67 of the Schedule V.
