In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of the Odisha Entry Tax Act, 1999 (Odisha Act 11 of 1999) the State Government having been satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, do hereby direct that the Inspissator for Tuberculosis Testing ( including Tank & Control, Unit, with 2KVA Stabilizer) which is a Scheduled goods with a quantum to the extent of 2 (two) numbers which shall be procured by the office of the Regional Medical Research Centre, Indian Council of Medical Research, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, for upgradation of the Tuberculosis Laboratories under revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme, shall be exempted from levy of tax under the said Act on its entry into the local area subject to condition that the Regional Medical Research Centre, Indian Council of Medical Research, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, shall furnish a copy of the certificate in the prescribed pro forma as appended to the Finance Department Office Memorandum No. 36246/F., dated the 20th October, 2012 duly signed by the authorized officer of their organization to the officer-in-charge of the check gate through which the goods enter into the State and another copy of such certificate shall accompany the consignment during transit.
